Dr. John Thornton

Dr. John Thornton is the inaugural director of the Texas A&M Coaching Academy. He earned his doctorate degree from Texas A&M in 1997 and received the 1998 Academic Inspiration Award by a vote of the Texas A&M Scholar-Athletes of the Year. Previously, he served as Senior Associate Athletic Director and Interim Athletic Director at Texas A&M.
